Waiting For Jobs In Banks Is Over, More Than 7800 Posts Will Be Recruited – Government Job

The wait of the contestants who are preparing for the recruitment examinations of banks is over now. The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has started the recruitment process for the post of Clerk in 11 Nationalized Banks.

Online applications have been sought till October 27 for 7800 more posts. Through this recruitment will take place in Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank.

Selection will be done on the basis of preliminary and main examination

For this recruitment by IBPS, examinations will be conducted at two levels, preliminary and main. Preliminary exam is likely in December. The main exam will be held in January. Objective based 100 questions of 100 marks will be asked in the preliminary exam. Out of these, there will be 30 questions from English Language and 35 questions from Mathematical Aptitude and Reasoning Test.

Total 60 minutes will be given to solve these questions. The main exam will consist of four objective based papers. There will be 50-50 questions from Financial Information and Quantitative Aptitude. Each question will get one mark each. The question paper of General English will consist of 40 questions of 40 marks. Wherein 50 questions will be asked in the paper related to reasoning and computer. This paper will be of 60 marks.

The recruitment process in banks had also come to a standstill during the Kovid transition. It can be estimated from this that 609 types of recruitments were done by IBPS in 2019-20. One crore 45 lakh contestants had applied for these recruitments.

Earlier in 2016-17, 591 types of recruitment were done. One crore 51 lakh youth had applied for these. In contrast, there were only 377 types of recruitment in 2020-21. Most of these recruitments were also for promotion and special posts. About 50 lakh applications were received for these recruitments.
