New Education Policy 2021: The implementation of the new National Education Policy has not only started, but its positive effect is also visible. After adopting the new education policy in all the universities and colleges in Madhya Pradesh, students have got to look towards subjects like yoga and organic farming.

National New Education Policy has been implemented in all universities and colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Under this, students can study according to their convenience and interest. After the first and second rounds of the admission process, students have chosen the subject of Yoga the most. The second favorite subject was organic farming and the third was personality development. All these subjects are governed under vocational curriculum.

86 thousand 495 students chose yoga subject

According to the information given by the Higher Education Department, after two rounds of admission process, 86 thousand 495 students took the subject of Yoga, 80 thousand 104 for organic farming, 77 thousand 833 in personality development, information technology 28 thousand 201, digital marketing 22 thousand 511. About 17 thousand 879 students have chosen tourism subject under vocational courses. Apart from this, about 17 thousand 514 students have selected the subject of e-accounting and taxation with GST and about 14 thousand 627 students for medical diagnostics.

Freedom to choose optional subject

As an innovation in the National Education Policy, students have been given the freedom to choose optional subjects. If the student wants, he can choose a subject from any other faculty other than his own faculty. Students can initially choose 27 subjects from Arts Faculty, 20 from Science Faculty, 05 from Commerce Faculty and NCC, NSS and Physical Education in others.

Internship mandatory for quality education

The main objective of the new education policy is quality education. Internship / Apprenticeship / Field Project and Community Engagement and Service have been made mandatory for the first year students for the holistic development of the students. First year students will also get marks for the work done by them.
