Masters: Admission process will start again after the college opens

Bareilly. The exercise of the ongoing admission process in the colleges affiliated to Rohilkhand University will now start after the holiday is over. However, the university administration has given relief from the late fee. In Bareilly College, the admission process will start from October 18 on the remaining seats in some courses.
The admission process for MA, MSc courses in Bareilly College started from October 9. Due to the late fee obligation from October 16, the college administration had started the applications expeditiously. In order to deposit the fees immediately, the facility of depositing fees was given under both online and offline process. Due to more than ten times the number of applications relative to the seat, the college administration was expected to fill the seat in the first merit declared. But many students selected in the first merit did not reach for admission. Due to which the seats remained vacant. So, the admission process started by issuing the second merit.
According to the college administration, the second merit was declared on 12 October late night. Under this, the candidates who reached to take admission had only one day i.e. till October 13. Despite the holiday, the teachers and employees worked, but after getting relief from the late fee late at night, the holiday was declared. Now on the opening of the college, the admission process will be completed on the remaining seats.
Admissions Coordinator Dr. VP Singh informed that the candidates selected in the second merit list of various subjects of the first year of the postgraduates who were released from admission on October 13, will now have to reach the college for admission on October 18. At 11 am, all the candidates will reach the college and get admission in the department related to their course by appearing before the admission committee. Then the third merit will be issued if the seat becomes vacant.
