20 to 25 minutes
250 grams toovar dal
1 inch ginger
some curry leaves
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
2 tsp desi ghee
250 grams basmati rice
After soaking the tuvar dal for 1 hour, keep it within the cooker to be prepared by adding turmeric and salt.
Then onion, garlic, ginger, tomato will all be chopped finely
Keep frying till the tomatoes aren’t melted, when it’s roasted, then all the spices are going to be mixed.
Wash and soak the rice, boil it and prepare it, when the rice is prepared , put it during a sieve in order that its water can drain out.
Our lunch is prepared with tadka dal and rice, we’ve served it with papad and mango with vegetables.
